CRISTIE Protect
Cristie Protect is an easy-to-use, integrated backup and system recovery solution for physical and virtual machines. The solutions provide full protection of data files and databases for critical machines and servers, without the need for extra infrastructure of management. Protect is a lightweight solution that protects virtual machines running on vSphere. The simple backup and recovery software creates a backup of the entire system locally using a stateless proxy. However, it is managed centrally using the Cristie Virtual Appliance (VA), which allows for unlimited control of proxies. Protect is easy and simple to use through the Cristie VA, giving remote management and complete transparency. CRISTIE Hot Standby
Cristie Hot Standby can be instrumental in disaster recovery planning. Uses the software to make an exact replication of a running server, rather than testing on a live machine. The simple nature and design of the management interface, disaster recovery testing is made easy. It manages the protection of multiple systems, environments and operating systems from this single interface. Server replication is made easy with automatic and live clones, critical systems and data, performed in periodic syncs, scheduled which are set. The live system is replicated to any supported physical, virtual or cloud environment target, so there is no need to rebuild your servers or find and re-load software updates in a DR scenario. The software also makes use of bandwidth throttling, so it’s business-as-usual when replicating a live system.
